Tonight at sundown begins the fifth biblical month of Av. The name of “Av” literally means, “Father”. Av derives from the root, which means, “to will” or “to desire.” It is the lowest point in the Jewish calendar because of the destruction which happened on this day. Notice the following events that took place on this date: Av 9- 587BC- The armies of Babylon destroyed Solomon’s Temple Av 9- 70 AD- The Romans destroyed the 2nd Temple Av 9 135 AD- The final defeat of Jews by Rome Av 9 1095 AD- The 1st Crusade is launched, which kills thousands of Jews Av 9 1290 AD The Jews are expelled from England Av 9 1492 AD The Jews are expelled from Spain Av 9 1942 AD The Jews are deported from Warsaw ghetto’s to the death camps Av 9 2005 AD The expulsion of the Jews from Gaza began. Why is this? The 9th of Av was the date Israel’s sin of unbelief at Kadish Barnea. G-d brought Israel out of Egypt by His mighty hand and power. The spies went into the promise land and brought back a report of unbelief. Two spies said we can take the land G-d has promised. On The 9th of Av, Israel chose to listen to the voice of UNBELIEF! G-d designed this month to celebrate the month to enter the Promise Land. The spies said, “We don’t have the strength to take the land.”
So this is the month for us to break the old iniquitous patterns in our life of unbelief and doubt. As Hebrew 4:1-2 says, “they refused to mix the promise with faith.” As a result the month of Av began a month of destruction and mourning.

If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it? 7 Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. 8 A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?
The month where God destroys so He can build up. Consider what you hear and determine how to develop a new level of discernment or oppose counsel and advice. Listen carefully? You will hear key impressions this month.

Israel had a chance to repent of their unbelief and obeying the voice of negative report and they did not. In fact God gave them a second chance. Satan uses this to bring a curse in you life so you are visited. How did Israel go into the same sin again. When Jesus walked on this earth, Israel committed the same sin again at Kadesh Barnea…Hebrews tells us when Jesus came they tasted the good fruit of the age to come. They heard His words and they saw His miracles, but turned their back in unbelief and refused to enter or receive His promise of the Messiah.When Israel believes in Jesus as Messiah the curse of the 9th month of Av will be broken. GOD STILL WANTS AV TO BE A MONTH OF BLESSING AND CELEBRATION OF HIS GOODNESS. Av is the month that presents us with a choice.
We can choose to receive a curse Or we can choose to break a curse!
We can choose to believe God’s promises! WE can choose to enter into God’s promise land and blessings.
So receive God’s promise and mix it with FAITH this month.
AV IS THE MONTH TO BREAK INIQUITUOUS PATTERNS IN YOUR BLOODLINE. As blood bought Christians, you are grafted in the covenant of Abraham. We must have spiritual discipline in place this month so that the old mind sets and patterns do not come in and wipe you out.This is the month to deal with the roots in our generations. Av is the month to hear and understand. If a word has been given and you decide not to heed that word, consequences with begin.This is the month of Leo (the Lion) This is the month the Lion roars. That means this is an incredible month of prophecy. The most incredible months to prophecy to you promise, destiny, and purpose.
This is the month for God to execute His will and purpose. Sometimes he will tear down and rebuild because the iniquities are so bad. This is the month the earth contracts. So we should watch where the earthquakes take place and where they are occurring.
The Hebrew letter for this month is TET. It is a picture of a womb. Certain things will conceive in this month. This is a month when what has conceived in private will be shown in the physical realm. Like a woman who is pregnant. She can keep it pregnancy private for awhile, but then she begins to show. This month the Kingdom of God will advance through partnerships. Be very aware who you are aligned with in partnerships this month.
This month also coincides with new level of discernment. Discernment with who opposes you and bad advice, like the ten spies. Read Psalms 32:8-11, He takes hold of the reigns and guides you by His eyes… I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. 9 Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you. 10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him. 11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous;
